These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LexMoot website, mobile experience, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by JSK LEX PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Who we are
LexMoot is an online legal-education product operated by JSK LEX PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 6-16-49, 3rd Floor, Mekapati Pride, 16/3, Arundelpet, Guntur — 522002, Andhra Pradesh, India. You can contact us at jsklex23@gmail.com or +91 81428 06267.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to extract our case database, or violate these Terms.
3. Nature of the Service — no legal advice
LexMoot presents fictional and real-world case scenarios, judgments, and reasoning exercises for educational purposes only. Content on the Service is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. You should always consult a qualified advocate for advice on any specific matter.
4. Subscriptions & billing
- LexMoot Premium is available at ₹199 per month or ₹1,999 per year. Prices are in INR and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or banking details on our servers.
- Subscriptions are one-time purchases for the stated period (30 or 365 days) and do not auto-renew. You choose whether to renew.
- Launch promotion: accounts created on or before 30 June 2027 receive up to two months of Premium at no cost. Accounts created after that date receive a seven-day free trial.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-download cases or answers from the Service.
- Share your account or resell Premium access.
- Use the Service to harass other users or submit abusive feedback reports.
- Circumvent rate limits, subscription checks, or other technical controls.
6. Intellectual property
All case write-ups, reasoning explanations, mnemonics, UI, code, and branding are owned by JSK LEX PRIVATE LIMITED or licensed to us. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Service for personal, non-commercial study. Judgments and statutes we link to remain the property of their respective publishers.
7. User submissions
When you submit a case report, feedback, or other content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it to operate and improve the Service. Please do not submit confidential client information.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that case classifications, outcomes, or citations are free of errors. Users are encouraged to verify from primary sources.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JSK LEX PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid us during that period.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms; where such termination is for cause, no refund will be issued.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect.
